Rebecca Ruud did not find Rolfing through a textbook. A family member slipped a disc and exhausted every conventional option without relief. A single referral to a Rolfer changed everything. He completed the 10-series. His problem resolved.
Rebecca did the series herself.
She had been carrying her own pattern of whiplash injuries for years and experienced the same result. She did not need more convincing. She enrolled at the Rolf Institute in Boulder immediately after.
She completed her certification in April 2007, finishing at the European Rolfing Association in Germany, and has practiced continuously since. She holds additional training in Visceral Manipulation through the Barral Institute — a specialty that significantly expands what structural work can address. Most Rolfers do not have it.
Her practice has grown without advertising, entirely through referrals. Clients who move across the country fly back for sessions. People refer their closest friends because they are confident in what Rebecca will do for them.
She works with active adults: skiers, hikers, climbers, lifters, yoga practitioners. People who take their physical health seriously and want a practitioner who can see what is happening in a body and address it with precision. Many clients have said some version of the same thing: she finds the problem without being told where it is.
That is not mysticism. It is nearly 20 years of hands-on pattern recognition, a training that spans two continents, and a practice that treats every body as a complete system rather than a collection of symptoms.
